Impossible

Audio: https://kaplopblog.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/impossible.wav

the words
I over hear in a crowd
You are impossible.

still
whisper me
on my  way

make me
remember
how

to meet
the wind
how

to be
child
how

to
be
impossible

Beech Tree

rumbles and bumbles
above me
a stretch of forest all
in its own
imagination
as I linger
with its endless limbs
to let mine
grow

Bread

sparrows in a row
on the bench ahead
poised to go
stay long enough
for me to near
to remind me how
fear
for a moment
can turn
into bread
